Economic Analysis of Agricultural Market Uncertainty, Land Use, and Water Use

In the target regions of Tajikistan, household surveys and field investigations will be conducted with approximately 650 to 700 farmers to examine how market uncertainty influences their patterns of land use and water use.

FD induces lasting shift from nonorganic to organic vegetables consumption as compared to baseline and deliberation.

The deliberation and FD significantly shift vegetables consumption from nonorganic to organic in both rounds compared to the baseline.

FD demonstrates a great potential for making a persistent change in people’s food consumptions .

FD

Furthermore, FD is most effective when applied at the group level. This may be due to empathy, emotional involvement, and peer effects within the group, where members share the same vision, mission, and strategy.
